Psychotic Reaction - Don't Say You Don't Remember

Ok ok ok so I am on a You Tube binge. :)  Like a kid in a candy store, I found out that just about every song ever sung, has been uploaded to http://youtube.com .

There are two songs that are one hit wonders.  Thank God though that these musicians have documented their one hit wonder.  Well, I gotta imagine that they hoped they would have more than one hit, but what they hell ya gonna do, one hit is better than no hits!

Psychotic Reaction is a song done by The Count Five.  It's a pretty radical song.  Done in the mid 60's, at a time when the British Invasion was happening.  That is when most of the psychedelic unusual music originated.

I listened to some of the other songs of The Count Five and none of them had the same crazy power as this one.  In hind sight, you can see why this is their one big hit.  Check out the You Tube video that I will post the link to.  It is of them performing this song.  Again, thankfully this song is documented and saved.  One hit is better than no hits and forever this unusual song will be a gift to all who listen to it.

This was the best copy on line, but it's been removed via You Tube >>>>Click here to hear and see Psychotic Reaction. >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsLMuH82us0  <<< This copy has been removed.

Hence, click here for another version, which sadly is not as good. >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLImLybkTD4&feature=related

This is the best sounding version, but there is no video to it. >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9a4W2FZnpc&feature=list_related&playnext=1&list=AVGxdCwVVULXdmfmCSbAUnP52Yl_lLDme6

Beverly Bremers is not only a blonde fox, but she had a magnificently powerful hit song in Don't Say You Don't Remember.  Man, the beauty, what a diverse distinction.  After listening to Psychotic Reaction, which is a pretty radical song and then hearing the sweet voice and significant lyrics of Ms Bremers song, it is like night and day.  However, the power and beauty of each song is evident.  What they are trying to express, is expressed and with vivid beauty.

I have the fortune of making this observation historically.  Why did The Doors and The Beatles have sooo many hits and the two groups of this post only had one hit?  Some times that is the luck of the draw I guess.  I mean, the talent and beauty of the groups reviewed in this thread, is present.  Beverly has her own web site and she teaches singing and voice.  I guess it is like Mike Tyson teaching boxing.  Except Mike Tyson did have an illustrious career that involved more than one victory

I am grateful however, that the two groups reviewed in this post, have had their one hit wonders for us to enjoy forever.  Click here to hear Beverly Bremers Don't Say You Don't Remember song, which includes many pics of her and lyrics too. >>> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TnGB6-rq1fA
